The Fig Tree & the Olive Tree

We used Adobe Flash for the latest project in my Interactive Web Design class. The requirements were:
- Must be a fable
- Must have 3 separate scenes
- Must have 2 interactive (clickable) elements per scene
I browsed through aesops fables and selected one that would easily adapt to a 3-scene structure. I drew the graphics before spring break, but didn't start on the animation until the week after. That turned out to be a mistake. I didn't have any time last week to work it and last weekend some friends and I took a mad dash to Chicago to catch a performance of Hair. I didn't work on the project and ended up doing all the animation in two week-nights. I will certainly do my best not to cram projects like that again.
In the end, it turned out very well. During the critique Prof. Christian only said good things about it. He tore apart all the other animations.
Click on the picture to open the animation. Adobe Flash Player will be required. Remember, there are 2 clickable elements in each scene.
