Panorama Adventures

This semester I'm taking an intro photography class. The last exercise we did was a panorama.
One Saturday night a couple friends and I were out to see if the Aurora Borealis would show due to the recent solar flare. Unfortunately it was cloudy, so we didn't see anything, but I had an idea for a different shot. There is a mountain overlooking Marquette called Sugarloaf - a perfect place for a nighttime shot of the city. My friends decided they weren't stupid enough to run up an icy mountain in the middle of the night with no flashlight while carrying a camera and tripod. I managed to rearrange the bones in my ankle a few times, but I got the shot!
After Sugarloaf we went to Little Presque Isle and I got these shots of the city lights reflecting off the clouds.
The next couple weeks are looking rather insane with 3 more projects and a trip to Chicago. Wish me luck!
